Shuffle all 56 Minor Arcana and deal face down in seven rows of eight, numbered left to right. Reveal cell 1. Cups and Pentacles move one cell right; Swords and Wands move one row down. Reveal the new cell and repeat until the required move would leave the grid; there is no wrapping. Read the final revealed card. Traditionally the first card sets a symbolic theme: Cups numbered cards/ace/courts relate to affection/marriage/family; Pentacles to resources/help/work; Swords to wellbeing/competition/difficulties; Wands to friendship/school/study. These are game labels, not diagnoses or factual forecasts.

## What to watch for

A symbolic interpretation does not establish hidden facts or guarantee an outcome. Separate observations from assumptions and use direct communication for questions involving another person.
