Each card includes its name, RWS classification, upright and reversed keywords, general meanings, and a description of the illustration. Keywords are prompts for study, rather than fixed definitions.
Strength is VIII and Justice is XI in this edition. The Fool is numbered 0. Each suit contains Ace through Ten and four court cards: Page, Knight, Queen and King.
Upright and reversed meanings are distinct passages. Changing the orientation selects a different interpretation; it does not rotate the artwork.
Interpretations are traditional and authorial perspectives. They should not be treated as verified claims about another person, future events or personal decisions.
Flashcards and self-tests draw directly from the card library. Comparisons display individual meanings without inventing interpretations for a pair of cards.
The study notes are short editorial summaries drawn from the full passages. Picture cues describe visible details separately from the interpretation used for study. Context sections retain the complete available passages; a missing section is labelled rather than supplied by analogy.
Spread guides use explicitly stated position orders; traditions may differ. Practice draws present separate card meanings and position prompts, without generating a personal prediction.
